Reiki is the process of rebalancing and replenishing energy to restore health, harmony, and healing.  Katie’s mission is Connecting you with your inner wisdom to heal body, mind, and spirit.
Katie has practiced cardiac, vascular, medical/surgical, and oncology nursing in hospitals, as Staff Nurse, Charge Nurse, Advanced Clinical Nurse, and Clinical Manager.  She has extensive knowledge of body systems and disease processes.
She has also practiced in the hospital and community setting with new moms and babies as a Lactation Nurse, Postpartum Doula, and Breastfeeding Counselor.
She practiced seven years in each field, and moved from adult nursing to mother-baby when her daughter was born.  She has used Hands-On care and Intuitive Counseling skills to help patients and clients.
Katie is the only RN in the Orlando area who offers Energy Healing treatments in her practice.
She developed a passion for working with sensory sensitive children when her son started showing symptoms at 18 months of age.  He is now a healthy, functioning elementary school child.  She has counseled parents in sensory education, food allergy education, Energy Healing techniques, and the importance of self-care.
She has the gifts of claircognizance and clairsentience, and uses them to work directly on the areas of the body that are most in need of healing.
Claircognizance is intuitive knowing, or receiving information that helps clients with their healing process.  Clairsentience is intuitive feeling, which guides her hands in Energy Healing sessions.  She is an Empath, which means that she can feel strongly what clients are feeling physically, emotionally, and spiritually.

Children like this are  Sensory Sensitive Kids , or Highly Sensitive Kids.
