Tips for the holidays

The holiday season is full of fun parties, family get-togethers, and shopping for the perfect gifts. It can also be stressful and anxiety provoking if your energy is out of balance. Did you know that a simple energy routine can bring those difficult emotions back into balance?
There are energy pathways or meridians running through our bodies that correspond to specific organs. Each organ has an energy signature and thematic emotion. Around the holidays stress and anxiety are the emotions associated with fear, of not getting enough done, not having enough time, losing control of your schedule, or being out of your comfort zone.
Balancing a meridian by tapping on specific acupressure points can sedate and balance the emotion associated with that meridian.  Fear is closely related to the kidney meridian, which is balanced by tapping on the acupressure points directly under the area where the collarbone curves down near the top of the breastbone.
Tap or thump for as long as needed to feel safe, calm, and secure.  Balance the meridian as many times as needed throughout your holiday season, and enjoy this festive time free of stress!
