Happy Mardi Gras!

Happy Mardi Gras!

Today is Mardi Gras day. As a native New Orleanian I am really missing home today! For me the Carnival season means parades, hanging out with family on the neutral ground (median) catching throws like beads and cups, and eating good food like jambalaya. It's a misnomer that Mardi Gras only happens in the French Quarter. It's a lot of fun for the whole family, and now my mom even lives on the parade route!

The funny thing is, it seems that only New Orleanians and natives living elsewhere know about this family aspect of Carnival. It's a best kept secret about our town. Much like people in Seattle don't want you to know that the city gets more days of sun than New York City...

We all have things that are unique about us, that only we know, much like a city's best kept secret. Did you know that your intuition works like this? That your inner voice knows your secret talents and gifts, and wants you to share them with the world?

When you follow your inner wisdom, it's inevitable that you will unlock your passion. Finding the things that drive you from within is the key to a happy work life. When you use your gifts and talents in a way that helps others, a path naturally unfolds that becomes a synergy of what you love and how you work.

Teaching spirituality and helping sensitive kids are two of the things I love to do, and have grown naturally from my inner desire to help others and make the world a better place. Check out my classes below and praise from my students here.
